I see ol' mate had a few moments tonight. He's a good solid halfback with plenty of heart and ability but then there are those moments.

Not going to lie - I was having some bad flashbacks watching him play on Saturday night. The running sideways to deliver a predictable inside ball to a poor edge forward will forever haunt me.

Yes, it is scared in all our minds Frailty.

I have tried to warn all my Cows supporting friends up here and remind them that they have paid 800 thou a year for the pleasure of watching this chad move.

That's the thing, the predictability. I noticed on the replay Nicho did some inside balls as well but the defence wasn't set for it like they are with Chad cause Nicho might do something different.

WIth Chad they just line up to bash the carrier.

Here is a great short vid where Seibold shows how Nicho is creating illusions for the opposition defence and thus putting them in 2 or 3 minds in to what he is going to do.
I'm sure there are plenty more examples besides these few, but its a little insight to how he is playing more eyes up footy.

He Has hit a purple patch but they play the Storm and Penrith in a few weeks. Wouldn't surprise me if it turns to a brown patch💩

The turn around always happened when Chad got mentions for SOO.
That will not happen whilst Cleary is fit.
Looks like he's going to have his break out year. 😀

For some unknown reason he seems to really fire up against Newcastle. If Newcastle don’t make peace with him, they have another 2 years of this.

Let’s make a judgement on this one at the end of the year. I can recall many a year Chad started like a house on fire then faded away terribly when the big games come around. A lot of things to happen before anyone can say we made the wrong call. I am pretty confident we made the right choice for not only now but the future.
