Maybe one day, they should hire Sam Newman to be on the NRL Footy Show and see how it's like (like they did in 2006 when they had the NRL/AFL Footy Show crossover when both shows were in Melbourne). However, I don't know if that would work, since the NRL Footy Show hasn't been live at 9:30pm for quite sometime

HAHAHA! Yeah, I have to laugh at all the people who say that Brad Fittler is one of the best commentators and presenters in rugby league. I'm sure more than 50% of the people on this forum can articulate themselves a lot better than him if they were given the opportunity to do what he does on tv.

Fittler is a character and has no problem speaking off the cuff...which is refreshing in that environment.
