So everything that grown men do even in their own time is now somehow sheated home to the coach.

FFS wake up people these are grown men with responsibilities that they refuse to take so why should that be pushed onto the coach's shoulders?

I suppose big Nelson playing up in Bali was Bellyache's fault?

Latrell, Ado Carr shooting up the countryside was their coach's fault?

What would you rather Rava & Musgrove having a push and shove or some guys snorting, hanging out in toilets, dry humping dogs and sexting barmaids?

Give me a break and give yourselves an uppercut and wake up to the fact these ain't Rhodes scholars they are predominantly not very bright modern day gladiators and what you see is what you get.

f**k the papers and the reporters as they have obviously SFA else to do.

It's a bloody long season
Nothing to see here
Release the tension now
Move on
All humans
Your missing the point but every one is entitled to their opinion. My opinion is that as a 53 yr supporter and a 40 yr member I am sick of our behaviour off the field and that reflects upon our performances on the field especially in the last 3 yrs. Once again this season we will not be playing semi finals football.

We use to have a saying on the change shed door " The standard you walk past is the standard you accept". So if we are happy to accept our players getting drunk every time they lose a game this season then the only people that are going to be happy are the breweries. We need to draw a line somewhere, our club and teams discipline and culture is toxic and our on field performances over the last 10 seasons speak for itself

Sums it all up and pretty much shows why will never win another premiership until there is a massive clean out and culture change. This sort of behaviour is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

Seriously so your happy that our 1st graders are drunk as skunks their behaviour is a reflection of our current culture and lack of discipline and our poor on field performances. Our children look up to these players as role models. No matter how educated or not you believe that they are they know right from wrong, acceptable and unacceptable behaviour. You are entitled to your opinion but so our others that have had a gutful of our on field lack of performance and lack of success poor discipline and poor culture directly affect our club, our team and our brand. So no upper cuts perhaps acceptable in the 80s but not nowdays. Just my views.

The entire sport is riddled with bad behaviour in all areas of the game.

Players, coaches, administrators, managers, medical staff across a broad range of clubs have been found guilty of various misdemeanours

Our club is no different to any other and never will be and the sad reality is that our club has always had players misbehaving right throughout its existence.

Perhaps you are correct but it strikes me that as an old coach myself albeit not NRL level that those clubs that have been successful and playing semi finals football every season are those who have very few disciplinary or cultural problems such as the Panthers, Storm, Roosters whereas clubs like us Warriors, Tigers have had our fair share of issues. Good discipline, good culture and acceptable high standards of behaviour both on and off the field are essential for success on the field in my view

If our players are going to get on the piss after every loss. Then based off their performance on the weekend, and their team on paper, they’ll all be visiting AA before season’s end

Jo,
remember the white powder incident after storm won the grand final / penrith have had the may incident where he manhandled a youngster, the cleary video during covid and a few other incidents.
granted we have excelled with our dumbness and we have to work on it .
what gets me over this incident is how some reporters are dredging up the 'scuffle ' that lomax and junior had at training as a further example of our bad culture. Everything just goes up dramatically when its a dragon - sounds like they were out clubbing until 6am , reports now say they got back to motel about 2 and continued drinking in their own room - reprimand them for not being responsible and maybe from now on traet them like under 8's with very strict curfew,
Media love to put the slipper into any scandal with us just imagine what would be said if 2 saints players came out of the same toilet cubicle do you think it would be brushed off as food poisoning ??
Obviously we have a coach and management that the playing group doesnt respect in some way

Agree, we, I mean our club set the standards for so long now we are the whipping boys for the media. I acknowledge that the incident is on the low end of the scale but we just seem to be lurching from one transgression to the next and it is affecting our brand, our image and our ability to recruit and retain our best players hence our poor showing over the last 10 seasons. It seems that those other clubs escape relatively unscathed, it most probably isn't a fair playing field both on and off the field but we need to acknowledge our issues and actually do something about it

People seem to be getting more vocal about a drunken disagreement than about domestic assault, sexual misconduct etc.

calm down please, the club fined the, issued a breach notice and is following up. That’s it.

I don’t mean to say it’s a good look, or model behaviour. Of course they should know better, but 3 weeks out from a game having some beers is ok, and those who go overboard should be advised and monitored.

Again you miss the point. Neither player should be sacked and most people who have played, coached or supported RL like a quiet one but do we get so drunk we lose our memories, do we get so drunk that we want to cause a scene or a fight, do we get so drunk that we get into our cars to drive home and take a chance that we may not injure or kill someone?? There has to be consequences for our own actions if not then we accept that behaviour to be normal. Both should have been dropped and the coach told to control his players or the club will find someone who will. Our lack of discipline, our current culture is being reflected by our on field performances especially over the last 3 seasons and surely nobody supporting the club is happy with that. Mark my words this team and club are divided and we are no chance of playing semi finals football again this season.

Over the top with suspending them for a game. Typical of the lynch mob just like the media. Fine sufficient and that too would still hurt for having a wrestle or argument that started in your hotel room and went to the hallway
Being drunk..not a great look after a loss that now has made public by media due to someone from the hotel? club? putting it on line.. but it was private function and 1/2 the young population may of had too much on a Saturday night
Did you call for Mitchell and Wighton to be banned from the AllStars. That was more of an embarrasment which involved outsiders watching and police called supposedly.
Not even sure if they got fined by their clubs
