Moses got player of the tournament in the African Cup of Nations, and of course a winners medal! Great news for him!

Mikel got MOM in the final also.

They're only four points above us, but the lads should be more interested in staying above Spurs and Arsenal

Much depends on our trip to Etihad on the 24th...

I think he's forgetting how bad we've been playing under Factman.

City, Chelsea and Spurs have all been pretty inconsistent

I'm quite pleased to still be four points from second considering how ordinary we've been this year

Man U have been given the League on a plate though

Yeah, I just hope we get Jose.

If we do we should be in a much better position next season, particularly if the fortunes of the other clubs don't improve.

I still can't work out why the Fat Spanish Waiter decided to play Torres. With Ba Cup tied he would have been a better choice for the wigan game. Rafa logic 101.

You've got to wonder what would happen at the Emirates if they don't finish in the top 4. I'd laugh if they won the CL and Spurs finish fourth again.

I'd prefer to see Arsenal miss out on the CL completely, just to see the implosion at Arsenal.

Yep

A top 4 finish this time is crucial though - I doubt Josè would be too happy in the Europa League...

That would be a particularly cruel piece of deja vu

Hardly. We addressed the issue that prevented us winning last year by buying the best striker we could get our hands on. The rest is down to how driven Sir Alex is to win, and his ability to inspire that same hunger in his squad.

Unless United manage to get Jose when Ferguson retires they will really struggle.

Then again, he just keeps going though.

I remember when we had that

It's the sort of thing that lets you go through a season conceeding only fifteen goals

Hopefully Josè will turn Stamford Bridge back into the fortress it once was

The funny thing is I don't think RVP was the biggest component they needed, they are just playing so well and obviously having RVP in any time makes a big difference. I still think they need some midfield reinforcements and a few defenders.

On Chelsea, usually I would've hoped Mourinho didn't go back there, but AVB is doing fantastically at the moment so I don't mind. With City falling over themselves I want someone giving a credible challenge to United anyway, makes the league much more interesting.

Jose Mourinho eyes return to England

Jose Mourinho insists his next move after leaving Real Madrid will be to return to the Premier League.

Mourinho's future at the Bernabeu has come under scrutiny as Real prepare to face Manchester United in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Portuguese, 50, has been linked to United, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Asked when he expected to return to England, the former Chelsea boss said: "After Real. I love everything [about the Premier League].

He added: "Normally it will be my next step."

Mourinho has also been linked with Paris St-Germain - but made it clear he sees his immediate future back in England.

But asked if he would replace Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, Mourinho said: "I don't believe so. I think we have to end our career at the same time. [Ferguson] at 90 and me at 70."

Mourinho was in charge of Chelsea from 2004 until 2007, during which time he won the Premier League and the League Cup twice, as well as the FA Cup.

He has since managed Italian side Inter Milan, where he won his second Champions League title after capturing the trophy with Porto in 2004.
Mourinho has been with Real since 2010 and won the the Spanish title last season.

But with Real lagging 16 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona this season, Mourinho's press conference once again revealed his scarred relationship with the Spanish media.

Local newspapers also turned their fire on Manchester United's Wayne Rooney on Tuesday, with one labelling him "a freckled demon" and "a player and hooligan all rolled into one."

"I didn't read this," said Mourinho. "But if I can support Rooney I would just say I was called worse than that week by week."
