How Amos Roberts was selected ahead of Luke Burt ill never know, and Ben Creagh? The guys a good player and all but f**k me, how many more tackles does Alan Tongue have to make, how many more tries does he have to score? Ridiculous

Peachey had to be in the side he is alot more capable of pulling off some magic than any other fullback in NSW.

Maybe 4-5 years ago but while Peachy is still a good fullback, he is running on old legs. New blood is needed and Stewart is just that. I do agree with the confusion over the selection of Morris. I could think of a few other players better. Is Merritt eligable for Country?

2. J Morris - Terrible selection. Daniel Fitzhenry has eaten him alive form wise.
3. Quinn - Ok Selection but Gids should be in the centres.
4. Tahu - This is a joke right? Has done nothing one year.
5. Roberts - Hang on this is a joke ! Surely!!!
6. Gidley - Good utility and should go ok.
7. Kimmorly - Puzzling but is a class act at times
8. Fitzgibbon - Am I missing something ??
9. Buderus - Obvious choice

11. Bird - I'd have him at lock. Best player in the comp.

1. Minichello - Lucky to be picked ahead of Hodgson and Luke Burt.

3. Lewis - Should be at home watching the game on TV
4. Collis - Classy player but has only played well just recently, Coach's selection ???
5. El Masri - Great choice
6. Anasta - At Number 6? Hope he goes well.
7. Gower - They are kidding ?? Wheres Orford?? Monoghan has even blown Craig of the park this year.
8. King - Good choice
9. Farah - Best hooker in the game. Smith 2nd and Buderus a distant 3rd.

11. Gallen - Needs to find form but look out when he does !!
12. Hoffman - Truly Awesome player. Better than SBW !!!!!

I'm sure you remember State Of Origin 1995?
Queensland fielded a team that even I as a passionate supporter of League didn't know who a couple of the players were. Ben Ikin was one of them, and Terry Cook was the other one who particularly stands out. He was (if memory serves me) a reserve-grader for the Gold Coast Seagulls! Queensland went on to beat the almost full-strength NSW team 3-0 that series.

Underdogs do get up sometimes. Perhaps (I'm hoping!!!) 2007 is the year it happens again, but obviously for NSW.

Gids can kiss his NSW jumper goodbye - he is a woeful 5/8.

Country by 1-6, in spite of their team.

Why can't they just get the teams right..... how come it seems everyone can see certain things (ie Gidley is not a 5/8, Roberts is in terrible form, Tongue is better than Creagh etc etc) except the selectors....

A few people seem to be missing the fact that NSWs Anzac reps are stood down. The likes of Bailey, Kite, Mason, Ryan, Simpson, Tupou, King, Hindmarsh (who am I missing?) would improve a squad picked from those 34 duds.
