Lol.....victim blaming at its finest.

This from Buzz' article today.

He crossed the line, It is disappointing to say the least but no player in the comp is racist.

There is more that hasn't been said

Ezra may have or may not have said extra stuff. The situation has to be judged by the facts laid out though. If Leniu wants to stick with his "snitches get stitches" policy, he won't get very far in life.

I then replied to SLR saying fair point I forgot that Spencer already carried on after at the hotel
Lol....even if Spencer did not carry on after the game, Ezra should not be compelled to listen to Spencer's apology. I fully believe that forgiveness is a very important trait to have in a person....but that forgiveness is on Ezra's own terms here.

You'd think the club that is employing him wants him back ASAP, He saying what provoked it may see 4 weeks instead of the 8 being thrown around

Even back in the days if my dad's twisted military masculinity a 'man' doesn't cop a fake apology from a racist cuck. Tbh

Yes he is a racist who managed to hide it for 4 years of NRL.

He is a hot head, who crossed the line when talking smack.

Ok we speculate again hey? Throwing a racist taunt at a player because he called you a dick head - 8 weeks.
Throwing a racist taunt because he said you’re a weak bastard - 8 weeks.
Throwing a racist taunt because he said something outside the spirit of the game - disciplinary action for both players.
just what are the roosters planning here?
And good on Mam for not accepting an apology and not giving Spencer mitigation.

What sounds better

Leinu hates aboriginals so threw an unprovoked racist taunt at one?

Or

players were throwing insult from both sides, Spencer took exception to being called xx.

Crossed the line in his reply back?

Option 2 would be the plan

Shouldn’t matter. He responded with a racist taunt either way. If his first response is to use a racist taunt then he needs to learn a lesson.

The 99 GF was a legendary game which Mundine played in.

The dropped try is iconic.

It's a shame his role in the 70-10 thrashing the next year is falling out of public memory.
I was at the game. MCG that night
I think it was 40 nil halftime
The Melbourne Storm crowd was chanting singing clapping song's about Mundine
All in a very negative way
At the end of the match. I went for a walk around the back of the grand stand car park area .
Still inside the MCG. I saw Chris Anderson Storm coach. 2 other storm officials in suits and Bill Harrigan the referee. All get into the same car and drive out. Something you don't expect to see
I was very surprised

I've forgotten both of those games, yes I have no memory of either of those games

Think what you want about Mundine, his hammering of Trell is top drawer - he’s absolutely right in what he’s said about his form, and where Trell thinks he stands in the game from a legacy perspective.
He’s said the things about Trell that most people think, but would likely be accused of racism if they ever voiced them….
Trell is a merkin, what colour of a merkin is absolutely irrelevant.
If Mundine had just gone one step further and called Trell (quote unquote) lazy, it would've been *chef's kiss*
