About time the Dogs signed a hooker. The've been playing without one since Jason Hethrington left.

Good pickup for the Dogs. They will have a pretty fair team next year. Should be back in the hunt for top 4.
Cant see the dogs improving much next year, Ennis AND HAnnant will not improved the dogs no offense but the dogs will be still too slow in the backs and wont have the coach or players like Ennis and Hannant this year what made thier names, if anything Ennis and Hannant might be in the decline next year

Too true, a 23 and 24 yr old in decline is spot on, going by the past 100 years of Rugby league all players get worse after that age.

Well spotted.

....
Cullen said utility star David Stagg and young backs Darius Boyd and Joel Moon had exercised their options to remain at the club for 2009.
....

so..
David Stagg has extended his contract with the Broncos till the end of '09
Darius Boyd has extended his contract with the Broncos till the end of '09
Joel Moon has extended his contract with the Broncos till the end of '09

Very pleasing, especially in regards to Moon. Hopefully he will get a run at 5/8 this week.

What i mean is that they will be duds, you wont hear anything like this year, playing with the bulldogs, Hannant and Ennis arent really impact players what the bulldogs will be hoping

Ennis playing brilliantly for the broncos ATM with a MOM performance last friday night, there goes your theory.

Hannant is already a rep with a very bright future, a 23 yr old prop making rep teams is a great achievement. Has been likened to Shane Webcke from legends of the game.

Yeah thats right, all former Knights are rubbish. Forgot.

On form the call is correct. With Buderus departing next year Ennis would be next in line for the Country job, and fighting it out with Farah for the NSW job. But that line from the Dogs also indicates the kind of money they've spent on him - rep calibre money. Good signing anyway

Not all, just Michael "wink wink" Ennis. There is a reason he has been at so many clubs and never really taken a strangle hold on a starting position.

"But Cullen said the club would not stand in their way if they received better long-term offers from rival clubs."

So Moon and Boyd still up for grabs
