The Bulldogs have had a look at the Broncos current recruitment practices, and learned what NOT to do. Well done for making some very astute signings.

I'm still waiting for the hordes of "OMG CAP CHEATS" to come through.

Just think about it and realise.. Utai, Holdsworth, Leaeno, Millard, Sullivan all fringers on anywhere from 55k-120k (for the likes of Holdsworth and Millard). We have room to move now that players are leaving. And Eastwood will more than likely leave, too.

The players we're signing like Paea, Tia-Kalifi and Green would all be on base salary. Some very smart signings being made.

you got JTK for a lot more than $50k base salary...otherwise he would have stayed at Penrith. Got that from the horses mouth today..

JTK will be your starting winger next year.

He's a young Utai.

Powerful legs...loves the rough stuff. Eats up metres on kick returns. The type of player you really need in the modern game.

Too bad Penrith didn't think so.

It will be very interesting to see what happens there. I can't see any other back line other than Patten, Turner, Idris, Morris, Goodwin.

So if JTK does get a spot it'll be interesting to see where and who misses out.

2. JTK
3. Morris
4. Idris

It's Patten, and he is signed until the end of 2011 or 2012, I can't remember. He is one of the most important and best players in the team, he isn't going anywhere unless his chronic back problems cause a pre-mature retirement.

Don't know if its been mentioned already, Leeson Ah Mau said on the NYC coverage today that himself and brother Isaak Ah Mau have signed for the Cowboys for 2 years. Leeson is a phenomenal prospect. 20 runs today, 186m, a try, 2 offloads and a line break.
