I think Cook is a better fit for Souths, we don't have a running #7 so we need a running #9..........what's your opinion of that STID?

I think you’re completely correct. Hunt and Widdop run the show for the dragons which simplifies Mcinnes’ job. Our halves are a bit of a mess right now but I have confidence that Reynolds can regain some of his form under Seibold. Just look at how good the twins are going.

I think Cook is the form hooker in the comp right now. I think he should be chosen for NSW this year too.

That is no disrespect to McInnes, who I think is playing some good footy. His defence has been great this year, but he lacks the X factor that Cook provides from dummy half.

I doubt that any Souths fans would rather they had McInnes back, instead of Cook.

I hope nobody is going to complain about the brothers getting called up for the mid season test on origin weekend.
If it good enough for Aussies to play 3 games there can’t be any complaints about this.
It certainly doesn’t hurt for them to play more big games when/if finals come around.

If it good enough for Aussies to play 3 games there can’t be any complaints about this.
It certainly doesn’t hurt for them to play more big games when/if finals come around.

As long as Rusty shouts them first class cabin luxury flights, so they’re nice and fresh and ready to go on return. Maybe massages all round during stop over. Seriously I hope they’re able to go, great for their motivation and good for the game.

They definitely deserve to be called up. Isn’t that the week that all NRL fixtures are off as well? So it wouldn’t really affect us anyway, unless they got injured of course.

There are fixtures on Thursday,Friday with players arriving back on Tuesday.
It’s just bad planning from the NRL, an international window is obviously going to mean travel. But even if they missed that game it’s jo different to players missing games for origin 1 and 3.
