Speaking of Raay, Shaun Micallef had a dig at him last night on Mad as Hell, he dont like him.

I listen to Ray when he's on and I'm in the car, which is rare anyways.

I heard the start of his show yesterday and he still had to be negative my pointing out that the 2 politicians hadn't stood down from the footy club board yet.

He then went on to say how great Max is and that he'd spoken to his very good friend the night before and he would fix everything.

I think Ray's a merkin but I still listen. I agree with some things he says on many topics and disagree with others. I don't whinge about him much though unless I really believe he is out of line in his opinion.

The amount of times I am in the car between 9 and 12 is probably a couple of times a year so I don't hear much from him and he isn't on the CCT much anymore and even then I don't listen to that too much either.

For the calling of games I generally listen to ABC or if on the NRL app I choose MMM.

Thankfully he has never been on a call I've heard, he was probably there for the pre show stuff.

Still not sure what value they think he adds though? I'm assuming it is like gossip that they seem to like and a journalist of his quality can add plenty of irrelevant gossip to the show?

He wasn't always like that, back in his 2UE days he was great, but since he started this morning show on 2GB he has really changed. We don't get the 2GB football show on weekends up here anymore the local station now simulcasts the MMM one so i don't know how he is on that. But i stopped watching NRL360 to get away from Paul Kent and the prick is on MMM too!!!! So basically i listen for the 20mins or so while i cook the BBQ lunch on Saturday and that's it.
Sydney Media in general are a bunch of germs, basically now i watch the games i want to watch on 9 or fox and do bother with all the radio and tv shows about the game, they are all agenda driven dribble.
