Junior Paulo and James Segeyaro warned for 'consorting with criminals'

Parramatta Eels players Corey Norman and Junior Paulo as well as Penrith Panthers hooker James Segeyaro have been issued warnings by NSW Police for allegedly consorting with convicted criminals.
Detectives from the the Organised Crime Squad issued Paulo with his warning at his Sadlier home on Tuesday night.
Warnings were given to Norman and Segeyaro, who live together, on Wednesday morning.
Under Section 93 of the Crimes Act 1900 a person can be charged with consorting if they "habitually consort" with convicted offenders and if they consort with those convicted offenders "after having been given an official warning".
The warning for the trio came after Fairfax Media published a photo of the trio dining at The Century Chinese restaurant at The Star casino with former bikies boss Paulie Younan and alleged fraudster and money launderer Rafat Alameddine.
The photo is believed to have been taken hours before The Star casino security guards stopped a group of men, including Norman, from entering the premises.
It is understood the group were stopped during a routine metal detector search when Norman was found in possession of a container with unidentified pills.
Another member of the group is believed to have stepped forward and claimed that the container was his.
Paulo removed the post from his Instagram account on Sunday evening.

Glad to see the legislation isn't being abused.
"Habitually consorting" is now constituted by evidence that they had one dinner together.

Who exactly are convicted criminals allowed to eat their Chinese food with?
Other convicted criminals. And the staff. And Casper.
