Mean, are you Peter Cordtz, if so, I claim my five dollars.
I've actually been refereeing for 16 years, got to Super League reserve grade standard and was on the fringes of first team in the UK before I emigrated, kept refereeing here but have been a bit restricted by work commitments. I think there's an assumption at times reporters aren't interested in/don't care about the sports they cover. I've been involved in league all my life, played, coached, refereed, administrated, but I don't see why I shouldn't write about the negatives involved in our game. If Dale Budge, who is also passionately involved with the game, hadn't done any digging on the Nathan Fien Grannygate incident we might never have known he was ineligible for the Kiwis.

too much reliance on kicks
Craig Stanaway said:Now I stand to be corrected but that was an accurate report. TV3 on the other hand lifted a match report from the game from an AUSTRALIAN network which had absolutely no relevance to New Zealand viewers. It did not take into account what that result really meant to the Warriors and focused far too much on Canberra (which really was no surprise when you consider where they got it from). And the Warriors, without a doubt, were the biggest story of the weekend.
Last night TV1 provided New Zealanders reporting on a New Zealand story yet most of you it continue to knock us.... why?
