Howdy all, been o/s for a few months. Another 'crisis'? Feels like I never left! Certainly doesn't sound good, but like any newspaper story, we'll just have to wait and see.

So glad I didn't have to watch Manly win the comp... but at least it wasn't Melbourne ;-)

Manly may have won the comp, but watching them implode (Desi signed with Dogs) in the next week was most gratifying.

Now it's our turn to implode I guess. :?

Being a bully (read: merkin) to a female employee (allegedly) does not make me think that he's a nice person.

...and fooling around with another (allegedly) !! Charming!

Is that allowed @ Hillsong ?

When is all of this shit going to stop? Whilst I will remain forever Blue & Gold - the continual bullshit that goes on in this club is a real turn off & deepens my depression on its outlook.

The soul of our club continues to be destroyed by people who are only interested in their own agenda's.

Whilst this cancer continues to erode any passion that may have existed in our club, I can understand why players may have previously & in the future not played with any fire in their heart because of it.

Let's see what the investigation brings out. It could be that Ozzy has done nothing wrong but if he has then he should be sacked.

He's definitely done SOMETHING wrong from all the articles that we've seen so far:

Namely spend $35k on a company card for personal expenses.

If he wasn't given permission by the club to do that, then he should go!

Sadly, it's not like we're unique here. Bulldogs, Manly, Storm, Newcastle, Sharks to name just a few have all had admin shitfights as well in recent times. There's probably others that I'm not recalling too. Power does things to people, and the media is always looking for a story to sell papers, fact based or not.

If all that is being alleged is actually true then you'd say that Osbourne won't be around much longer. But given our 'friends' in the media I'm not sure I believe much of it just yet.

That said, Robin Williams had a great saying... Politicians are like nappies. They should be changed often, and for the same reason. I think it applies to any position of power really.

But most corporate cards are set up like that. My corporate AMEX is too. The cardholder and not the company/organisation has final financial responsibility for what's been charged to it. They don't usually have spending limits either (I've had to put very big hotel bills on mine, sometimes personal ones as well). The issue is whether you end up paying it back or not.

apparently he has permission written into his contract for personal debts to be paid back in 28 days.

Leaving your company credit card lying around for your wife to get hold of when you are allegedly "starting a relationship with an employee" maybe a costly error.

If infact he had not paid back the debt in 28 days, would this be enough to terminate a contract without a payout?.
