I think Ghana are ranked lower than us (or that is what i heard). Which by the way only makes the US efforts even more embaressing...

Will Kalac get a run v Italy? He plays over there (when he gets a run!). Please Gus no!

And the other player i would comment on from that game is Chipperfield. Thank god he has got excellent hussle and two way run, but can someone buy the bloke a new pair of boots or seomthing. His passing, corners.. it was aweful today.

nah i think togo is ranked below us, i think we were ranked 27th of the 32 teams, in terms of the rankings in the world cup, so maybe ghana are, but they still good, hopefully USA exit out the top 20 and we should bump are ranking up ALOT

Looks like you're correct. Rankings I just found on google said that Ghana is at 50 while we are 44. Don't know how legit the figures are though...

One things for sure, regardless of how much further we go, when the tourney is over and the DVD comes out about the Aussies journey, I'll be the first in line to get one...no make that 2 because the first will get worn out pretty damn fast.

I love the World Cup anyway but I can't believe how much better it is when your own country is representing, it's like a dream

I'm happy I've been making DVD's of all the Aussie games (and others) so far ... who needs a PVR when all you need is your computer and a good capture card! (and a DVD burner and a big hard drive and a long S-Video cable from the Foxtel box set to 16:9 on a 4:3 output and heaps of software with lots of time to edit and then convert the resulting video into DVD form then burn it onto DVD ... maybe it is easier to just get a set-top PVR!)
