Only 12kish in Townsville disappointing considering it was Cowboys last home game (probably) then again the 3 losses didn't help things and the Sharks ain't a big draw combine those you get the crowd.
Average so far this round is 13100ish - the lowest of the year. However that's the "highest low" of all time.
Bulldogs vs. Knights at ANZ Stadium - 10,257
Raiders vs. Panthers at Canberra Stadium - 10,085
Cowboys vs. Sharks at Dairy Farmers Stadium - 12,655
shocking crowds.
What drug are you on? Those crowds are more than acceptable considering only one had a direct impact on the final eight. On a Saturday night all 3 games topped 10000.
Awoke in Brisbane today to see some sunshine after days of rain. Weather forecast for the day say fine.
I was having a come down at the time but in truth why the f**k is any team playing out of ANZ ....it's Sydney's blackhole.
yep
not a spec of rain on the radar .. for 600K's in any direction
so if the 40K barrier isn't cracked
weather can't be an exuse ;-)
At the moment, there's been 22 sub-10K crowds, equalling last year's all time low. In 1998, there were 123...
Pretty clearly not a sellout, plenty of categories still available and no restricted view areas open.
By promoting something as a sellout when it clearly isn't, you are just going to limit walk ups.
