Considering the Broncos' success throughout their history, and the demographics of Brisbane (1 town team, 2+ million population, league heartland) you really should be close to selling out every game.

and only 14K would get lost in a sea of seats at ANZ. Decent crowd, but the game perhaps should have been played elsewhere.

Exactly .... only 5 years ago or so
cowboy fans are missing in action ... poor results over the last few years will keep fans away
but they're in the 4 ATM in the shadows of the finals ...:?

if they can't sell this Fridays game out & get at least one decent turnout for the year , with Lockyer set to become the most capped first grader in the history of RL in Australia... then I fear for their future ..:sarcasm:

There's people further north of here whom have no house or an income because their crops were destroyed you f**king spastic, how the hell are they meant to travel to a game without any cash?? I am sick of having to explain it over and over again, we've had good crowds since day dot, maybe if some of you took your head out of your ass you may realize this.......

5 years ago they'd of got 24K to these games .. we're have 50% of their f'ing crowds gone ?

Raiderdave - you are an absolute moron. You have no idea what the floods and Cyclone actually did to Brisbane and QLD.

Look at a map. The floods that ripped through south-east queensland affected areas such as Toowoomba, Ipswich and the Lockyer Valley which are major supporter bases for the Broncos. Also Brisbane suburbs such as Goodna, Rocklea, Graceville, Chelmer and Indooroopilly (JUST TO NAME A FEW) are key rugby league suburbs. These people lost everything, and still even with terrible weather (5 games have rained on the day or during the game) manage to suport the broncos as much as they can. Id love to see how many canberra fans would attend a game after having one of if not the worst natural disaster to rip through theyre beloved city.

I have been following these threads for atleast 2 years, and am shocked by the stupidity that you have shown.

Lazy Qlders? We sell our 105,000 origin tickets in 24 hours. It takes NSW fans 4 months to sell 83,500. Your state is over double our population.

Its clear that you dont understand what happened with the floods, 70,000 homes were affected. 50,000 businesses were affected. Estimates of 500,000 people being affected in brisbane alone. In the rugby league suburbs, people simply cant afford to go anymore. You should see the houses in Indooroopilly still with the water marker up the side. This isnt an excuse, broncos crowds should well be better. But they are only going to go up mate.

the Broncos crowds are overated .. even before the excuse of floods was being used
when they are analysed..... they're in fact ...quite shocking & have been for quite a while
