Crowd Comparison 2008-2009-2010-2011

Average crowds are listed because the number of games played were different in each year because of byes. Total crowds would be misleading.

After R.10

2008 17,329
2009 17,288
2010 18,008
2011 17,204

Crowds this season are down when compared to the previous three seasons.

2008-2011 down by .72 percent
2009-2011 down by .48 percent
2010-2011 down by 4.46 percent

12,360 at skilled. How close was i with 12k.

I see now how the warriors game was 17k, the ends are the deal breaker at skilled and they where much fuller last week

Every time I see a stadium with the ends more full than the stadium I think about ticket prices being too high.

Raiders v Bulldogs - 16k
Hopefully off a good win and against a big team the Raiders will get some folks in

Tigers v Panthers - 18k
Surely this western sydney derby has to draw a healthy crowd

Warriors v Rabbits 17k
Both teams on winning streaks, should go good.

Now we get to the two dud crowds that will probably drag down the average:

Roosters v Knights 11k
Roosters are stinking it up, their crowds are generally frontrunners, don't see them doing well against a non sydney team

Eels v Sharks 10k
Eels are spoon contenders against a team that usually doesnt bring in many away fans. five figures will be nice here

There is no way the Raiders-Bulldogs game will get 16k off just one win.

yeah , no way they'll get that
its a Friday night .. so it will be bitterly cold .. & its live on TV too
& we're last with 2-8
despite last weeks win , a lot of the buzz has gone from down here about our boys .. it will take 8 wins in th trott to get it back:?

12 or 13K will pull it up

Surely Warriors form would mean they would get more than 15k, assuming the weather is decent in Auckland on Sunday.

the weathers the key ... they should get more then 15K if its fine
they'll get less if it isn't
so I think 15K is like a middle ground prediction

showers & 16 is the forcast
so I wouldn't hold my breath

Despite their less than ideal start to 2011, the Raiders crowds have been relatively strong for them.

Vs Cronulla - 13,450
Vs Brisbane - 16,146
Vs Gold Coast - 12,165
Vs Newcastle - 11,879
Vs Wests - 13,425
Vs Canterbury - 12,865

Total: 79,930
Avg: 13,321

Just to give it some context, Canberra's average last year was 12,373, and their current average is the club's highest since 2003.
