Realistically, ignoring honeymoon effects and assuming a 8th-9th finish, what average do people realistically think the expansion bids will draw?

I'd reasonably guess:

23,000-26,000 - Brisbane 2 - Suncorp Stadium
- a couple of lower 17-20k crowds against low drawing or crap clubs, most games probably around the 22-25k mark, and couple of big crowds +35k

19,000-22,000 - Ipswich-Logan - 10 own 25k Stadium 2 Suncorp
- somewhat similar to the Titans, but would also get 1-2 big crowds which would pull them up

13,000-16,000 - Central Coast Bears - 11 Bluetongue (which isn't big enough at 20,059) 1 NS Oval
- 20k against Manly, the rest would be similar to Sydney clubs, but without the one off big crowd at ANZ effect.

12,000-15,000 - Perth - nib Stadium (~25,000 in 2013)
- would be stronger than Melbourne, but probably a little dependent on form

Capacity - PNG - Port Moresby stadium 20k?
- not really great though as tickets would be around 30c.

8,000 - Central Queensland - 20,000 stadium (which would be smallest in NRL and 1/3 of Rocky's population)
- Seriously, where will the supporters come for this team?

Manly's crowds will pick up, they've played 3 out of town teams + penrith, with 2 of their home games being slaughtered by torrential rain (massive crowd killer at brookie).

All their big games still to come -their crowds will improve.

They're next home game is at Suncorp so that should help.

Souths home crowd average for 2011: 17332. http://stats.rleague.com/rl/crowds/souths.html

For a club that's been around for 100 years and in vastly populated Sydney that isn't just embarrassing its disgraceful. How about looking after your own backyard before you spout your mouth off.

exactly

mid table with apparently more then double ( but they don't seem to know where there home ground is ) the members of the Raiders
& can barely draw more then a side running dead last playing in temps of zero degrees
now thats embarrasing :lol::lol:

put on a game in Sydney in 0 temps & see how many of them would turn up if their side was running last .....
the crowd would match the temp:lol::lol:

Someone debated how Newcastle could possibly supplied 10,000 of the crowd when the Roosters only have 146 fans

Crowd was shit today, Swans game next door didn't help.

That and we didn't play on the CC and it seems Knights fans don't travel far from their homes.

Rubbish. Saw several Sid Foggs buses outside of the stadium. Just because the Knights supporters weren't standing up with large banners and banging drums all game, doesn't mean that there weren't a lot of them.

On the topic of the Swans, didn't know that the majority of their supporters lived in Dural. Saw heaps of buses at the ground going back to Dural.

pretty much expected tbh, Origin period with 10 first graders missing against an out of town team.

Our remaining home games :
Warriors Round 13 Sat Jun 4
Canberra Round 17 Mon Jul 4
Penrith Round 18 Sun Jul 10
Bulldogs Round 21
Cronulla Round 24
Melbourne Round 26

Hopefully we draw decent crowds against Dogs and Penrith, because some of those will be very unimpressive (Canberra on a Monday...ugh)

There was maybe about 500 of the old ladies at the game but that's being generous. They usually travel a lot better than other sides just thought there weren't a lot there today.
