Sydney clubs seem to like the Sunday arvo games as opposed to Saturday night games, fine, that suits us to a tea.

Every club has their game day preferences for maximising crowds, but because we're at the whims of 9 and Fox it gets ignored.

Seems to me Cowboys fans are forgetting why MNF was scheduled this weekend. The whole Nitro Circus thing forced everyones hand, it wouldn't have normally been MNF.

mate every single one of us Cowboys fans know why the game was scheduled last night, it's fans of other teams that don't realise why. I personally have always stated, stadiums QLD should have their ass kicked for what they did to us.

what happens if the piper finds someone else to pay for his wares??? (7/ONE HD)
And would they want any less control?

We need to face the fact that if we want to get the maximum dollar we simply can't have the kind of control we want. And if we really want that control we have to accept less than we could otherwise get.

Comparing this seasons crowds to 2010

R.1 200,305 (2011) 165,554 (2010)
R.2 113,203 120,834
R.3 123,760 132,085

Total
437,268 (2011)
418,473 (2010)

Avg
18,219 (2011)
17,436 (2010)

Crowds this year compared to the same time last season are up by 4.5 percent.

While R.1 this season was a clear winner over last season, rounds 2 and 3 were down.

I can't see Canberra drawing well this weekend, and hopefully the Eels can get 10K.

I'd like to think Brisbane can hit 30K but against penrith i just don't see it happening.

Newcastle's new Western Stand mostly sold out, a few individual seats only on the far ends.

Eastern stand lower is individual seats only on the far ends. Eastern stand upper is 2 seats together max but I think they will sell out soon and dwindle down to individual seats.

Judging from that I'd guess to say that it's at least 18,000 to 20,000+ sold already.

They got 23k for the dragons last year so given the new stand and ticket sales i would say 25k is the minimum for this game. They say it wont get capacity this game due to some final touches, but not sure what the cap is.

RD4
Brisbane V Penrith 31k I suspect higher but not banking on it
Souths V manly 18k
Canberra V GC 11k
Parra V NQ 12k

30,000 max for this game I think.

I'd say it will get very close to that. I'm not sure how much of the two ends have sold though.
