It's a poor crowd buts its not like anyone pulls massive crowds against an out of town team on a monday night.
Hopefully things pick up during the year.
Hopefully things pick up during the year.
After 4 rounds crowds this season are slightly down on the same period last season.
This round drew a total of 134,464. Which gives a season to date total of 571,732. Compared to last seasons total of 573,179.
It is a drop of 1,447 or .25 percent.
Why are Melbourne sports fans knackers.Rugby League is a great game.
which is a shame due to the massive start we had

AFL is down by a lot more than that. The Swans "blockbuster" on the weekend drew only 28,000 odd. I can remember when their big games at ANZ drew 65,000.
Please you losers couldn't draw a line.
Hopefully with the bulldogs/saints blockbuster and a broncos game this week we see some big crowds. The tigers and cowboys may also get decent crowds.
Hopefully the storm can get a little better than what we have done so far.
2011 season has been a bit of a let down for crowds apart from the odd one hear.Watching all 6 games on Premier Sports and apart from the Souths v Manly game al the other shown games had heaps of empty seats which to an newcomer or passing observer to the sport would think that the game is not very popular. If you took out crowd figures for round one this season and last and just looked at the crowds for rounds 2-4 for this season the figures look rather disappointing. This season it reads 371,427 which is way down on the figure for 2010 which was 407,175.
Its early days for season 2011 and things should get better.
Roosters will outdraw the merged scum this year...
