whats with the warriors crowd ? I did see the incorrect crowd up in another site too
it looks like they've just put last weeks Taupo crowd up again
the official attendance at Mt Smart was 13,312 as reported here in leagueunlimited .. not 14,645
Kinda disappointing to hear predictions as low as 22K for the dogs parra game. I understand that form is a big factor but for a clash like this we really should be aiming to get 30K as a bare minimum.
I still think we will get above 25K but we will have to wait and see.

I don't mind being questioned but don't have a go at me and try to suggest I deliberately have taken away from a crowd. I don't just make figures up to stick here.

Could be just me, but I don't see where FOX Sports have a page of crowd stats or even attach crowds to match stats.
The Knights had three second half tries disallowed by video referee Chris Ward in the space of three minutes much to the delight of most of the 25,522 crowd.
BRISBANE 17 (J Reed 2 G Beale M Gillett tries, D Lockyer field goal) NEWCASTLE 6 (C Paterson try K Gidley goal) at Suncorp Stadium. Referees: Jared Maxwell, Phil Haines. Crowd: 25,522.
As I said - I'm taking my stats from www.nrlstats.com. Unless they change something I'll leave it at that.
Looks a shocker in brisbane....
Well as dogs members get free entry and the Easter show being on, i hope that gets more people through, i hope we can get at least 25k.
Comparison of this years crowds with 2010 and 2009
After Round 5
2011 (Total attend) 715,516 (Game Avg) 17,887
2010 703,302 17,582
2009 723,191 18,079
So far this season we are up 1.7 percent on last season. But down on 2009 by 1.1 percent.
What were the circumstance of '09 though?
by this time in 09 were big rounds such as ANZAC and Easter weekends already played for not?
At this point in 09 the crowds over 30k were:
Broncos v Cowboys - 45k
Broncos v Dragons - 42k
Broncos v Melbourne - 36k
This year over 30k:
Broncos v Cowboys - 45k
Warriors v Eels - 38k
Dragons v Bulldogs - 31k
So all the difference in average is those top 3 games.
The really upsetting thing about this is that we would be so much higher if it wasn't for this trend of weekend rain it seems the whole country is getting. Each time there is a chance at a big crowd it bloody rains.
Souths vs Dogs @ ANZ, 18k (potential 30k) Lead up: Sydney Experience a months worth of rain in 18 hrs
Dragons vs Dogs @ SCG, 31k (potential 38k) lead up: Torrential rain throughout the match, dark cloud cover all day leading into the game.
Dogs vs Wests Tigers @ ANZ, 25k (potential 30k) lead up rains on the day
Now you can obviously see my bias of team here, i'm sure there is much more cases of this kind of thing with games not surrounding dogs games, but if you only take these 3 games and put look at their potential crowd sizes we would be so much higher then it.
The rain is killing us guys.
