That's weird. I'm fairly certain the announcer said it was a record home parra crowd.
He did and he was wrong.
Suity

Looks to be alot fuller in the GA sections. I'd say its something to do with the promotion of the $40 family GA tickets with free transport, lots of Royal easter show people taking advantage...
Crowds at Manly and Gosford will be lower than predicted due to pretty consistent rain.
Why are people so desperate for a roof? Sure, provide as much spectator cover as possible, but rain and weather are a part of footy, and taking them out of the equation would be a bit, well, sh*t.

And it was a sh*tboring game.
Oh i agree as much covered seating as possible is a good idea, but I dont want a Docklands stadium situation where the weather is just taken away from the game altogether
Probably because it's usually on Good Friday, but with easter weekend and Anzac weekend being the same this year they couldnt do that, so probably ade a quick buck off this one?Luckily no one knew that before the game
Don't really see why the Roosters chose to take this one to Gosford, Broncos don't draw that badly at the SFS do they?
Do not blame people for not coming out in this weather.
It's normally Good Friday at the SFS, due to ANZAC Day falling on the same weekend, the Dragons/Roosters game takes precedence and it forced this game to be moved forward a week. Without the Good Friday occasion, the Roosters thought this was probably the best option to take up the F3.Luckily no one knew that before the game
