theres a 10K difference between tickets sold & the pax as I mentioned this morning
so I'd say the members aren't included in the 40K
( they are actual tickets sold) .. however they have to be accounted for somewhere so they'd be in the pax figure.. which is over 50,000 ATM
& what someone was reporting a few posts up

so we have also had 10K of the 14K ANZ members indicate their intention to attend on Sat night .. of course we just didn't feel the need to w@nk on about it like the AFL :roll:
but the main thing is
its looking like a new non grand final attendance record is about to be set for this one .....

She works for NRL marketing (The department is doing a shocking job with advertising this game BTW)...

Another dude from the NRL said crowd of about 70,000 but the game won't sell out and tickets will be available at the gate... Maybe someone should tell this guy to do his job and pump it up!

NRL will be much bigger than AFL because AFL is on a Friday and it is so hard to get there after work. in any case there is no train to the northern beaches.

What gets me is surely the NRL has a central media coordinater? They should be rolling players from the four teams into interviews and media sessions every day up to thursday, instead it has been pretty silent with the usual media ban crap from hassler etc.... So much to learn from the NFL, NHL and so on

Bulldogs will catch it up... I remember Parramatta were leading the whole week in 2009 (Ticket sales) and the crowd was 50/50 or close enough.
Also like Parramatta your bandwagon will be huge for obvious reasons.

Cat 1 now pretty much sold out for Bulldogs, same as the Kennel...

Friday night didn't stop almost 75k attending the Eels v Dogs in 09.

The promotion has been a disgrace.

Thankfully the game is a corker and we'll get a big crowd anyway.
