Not sure the old Magpie supporters are too enthralled with the West Tigers brand at the moment ........

Dont let a handful that post on forums fool you....get along to a Magpies state cup game, there'd be more bodies on the field than there are in the seats

Ironic you bring that up, have you seen a NSW cup ladder? Noticed what the Tigers have done to the Magpies NSW cup team? Noone in their right mind would watch an amateur team go up against teams of NRL contracted players week in and week out. It's painful to just see the score for the Magpies game every week.

Crowds today - 8,240 at Canberra for Raiders/Titans; 18,282 at Wollongong.

Superb in the Gong, atrocious at Canberra (given the afternoon and recent results).

Good crowd at WIN, terrible at Canberra.

Which goes to show how non existent the Raiders Titans rivalry is.

Stuns me people still bang on about certain games in rivalry and heritage rounds not being in fitting with the theme of the round. 16 teams, 8 games, some teams have more rivalries than others. Fact. Get over it.

Then why call it rivalry round?

Because the clear majority of games constitute a rivalry.

Is the better option to just randomly schedule the draw and not try to increase attendances or drive interest in the game?

Say what you want about the weather (of which it was very cold and windy and I guarantee if these were present at a game in Sydney all Sydneysiders would be crying), but our rubbish crowds have been rubbish for two seasons. This is because all Canberrans are fed up with the management of this club. A couple of isolated wins are not going to change that, only a change at top and a change in attitude and performance will.

Most people are done with the Raiders in Canberra under the current arrangements.

People who support clubs that are genuine rivals don't need to be prompted to attend these games. It certainly drove interest at Canberra.

What do you mean given the afternoon? Do you have any idea just how cold it is down here, especially when you're at the stadium?

If you had to go to games under our conditions every 2 weeks you'd be crying you little 2 teams bitch.

I would hazard a guess it was colder at Campbelltown last night than Canberra Stadium today.

About 100 Penrith fans could be seen.

I understand it if it is a protest to the accepted dross by management but the weather certainly is not an excuse today
