Revised figures after Round 19... give or take purely on the basis there's been two different crowd figures issued for STGI v CRO yesterday...

Crowd total 2012 (136 games): 2,237,962
Crowd average 2012: 16,456

Compared to after R19 last year

Total 2,216,836
Average 16,300

So we're still well ahead which is fantastic, hopefully another strong weekend ahead.

So in the remaining 56 games, we need another 911,966 (16,285 per game) to beat the 2010 record for attendances and another 913,279 (16,309 per game) to beat the 2005 average attendance of 16,413. Very doable, you would hope...

And by comparison, that 2005 average of 16,413 really jumped in the last 7 rounds. After round 19 it was only 15,912!

2005 is the record for attendance per game. 2010 is the record total attendance (thanks to more games with the Titans being admitted in 2007). These are excluding finals. If you include finals, 2010 beats 2005 for the average (17,367 vs 17,337).

All clubs need to do more of this. The Bulldogs match with return to the 80's prices ($10 entry and $2.50 hotdogs) should be something done a lot more by clubs. I hope this is something the Bulldogs do every year against a different club..
