Well, they were playing the Roosters who aren't one of their higher drawing opponents. Also, they don't play many games on Sunday afternoon. Had they been playing the Warriors, Broncos, Dragons or Bulldogs, they would've got a lot more than 11k.

The game this coming Friday should get at least 5k more, and that will be up against the Hawthorn/Collingwood match at the G.

21,701 for the Dogs game was fantastic. No more than 500 knights supporters there, and no other Sydney team would even get close to that for a knights game. Parra v Penrith barely pulled half of that and it was local derby. Top effort and looking forward to seeing what souths v dogs pulls in a couple of weeks time

21701 would be a good crowd if it was at Belmore but playing out of ANZ look's shit and it makes me turn off as the thousands of empty seats comes over very bad and dwarfs the atmosphere.

Melbourne crowds are crap yet if you look at the Big Footy forum they all wank themselves off over Billy Slater.

21k is very good, considering that the highest attendance between the two sides at ANZ Stadium is 26k (1999). Souffs are the only other team that permanently play at ANZ Stadium. We have to play them later in the year and there will be lucky to be more than half that crowd figure at that match.
