Well... can hardly accuse the AFL of making up crowd numbers then.
Looked more like 4k
Well... can hardly accuse the AFL of making up crowd numbers then.
My sons season ticket did not scan, I was told they have a few problems.
I think the crowd was bigger than posted and Cronulla don't lie about their crowd figures like the titans and some other clubs.
Round 8 Predictions:
Dragons Vs Roosters --- 35K
Storm Vs Warriors ------ 25K
Bulldogs Vs Sea Eagles - 28K
Broncos Vs Titans ------- 40K
Rabbitohs Vs Cowboys - 14K
Raiders Vs Sharks ------ 10K
Parramatta Vs Tigers --- 16K
Knights Vs Panthers ---- 21K
Total: 189,000
Average: 23,625
Apparently some turnstiles were broken today so some people got in that weren't counted
That might explain some. It looked like 17k

Smart move scheduling Storm vs Warriors for 7pm, there will be a capacity crowd across the road at the MCG earlier in the arvo for Collingwood vs Essendon, should be a few people who double up on both games. Warriors good showing today should help the crowd numbers too as we get good away support in Melbourne.
