 well played.

FFS I'm sick of this cop out every time this argument is had. I have Souths fans AGREEING me on Twitter - it's not good enough to only draw in 19,718 against a local team (the one whose head office is within 10 minutes of the ground).

What promotion was done for SOU v MEL that wasn't last night? The crowd in Round 6 was superb, where has that interest gone?

The less excuses and more arses on seats for key games like last night, the less people will criticise Souths.

Melbourne has some of the best players in the world, is it surprising that more people turn up to watch them? Same reason there tv viewing figures are higher than most clubs, they are worth watching as a neutral. Most Sydney clubs only have 12-15k paying supporters so hard to complain about sth's drawing 19k.

Please, you do realise we are the most attended team in the competition right now?

Our two biggest crowds of the year were Round 1 where despite 60-70% of the crowd in red and green it was an 'away game' and against you guys when it was pretty even and an excellent crowd but again, an away game.

There were next to zero Wests fans there, either. Why would there be? They knew they were going to get slaughtered

Apparently he will add 10000 to the game next week at Kogarah v the Panthers. Expect a crowd of 10001.
