Our spies.....for the Canturbury and Souths on Good Friday was well short of the reported figure. Stadium and NRL claim 51,686 were at ANZ but the real figure was 45,062"

The Roosters don't tend to draw big crowds and the bulldogs are playing like garbage. There are only so many bulldog supporters willing to travel to watch sbw destroy them.

Dogs form impacted I think. They brought less fans than usual, surprising considering the build up.

On its own ok but given the hype and media Covg it isn't great. When you break it down it is probably only 14k Roosters fans and8k Bulldogs fans that turned out.

Mind you probably plenty of dogs fans who are glad they didn't bother!

Id say 17-18k roosters fans would be more accurate

Did anyone hear Dean Bullcrap Ritchie on Sky Sports Radio this morning?

He fully stood by his article bagging Sydney league crowds over the weekend and once again QUOTED 21,000 for the Wanderders last Friday night and a 35,000 sell-out for the Swans next week.

He said the Roosters v Dogs crowd was "pathetic" and failed to mentioned the 32,000 at the Rabbitohs v Storm game last night.

Jimmy Smith was weak as piss for not pulling him up on it.
