Haha. That is the offer that actually drew us (2 adults, 2 kids) down the Coast! Very economical.

Just like when the lions/reds owned Brisbane which is more embarrassing considering the broncos had the greatest success out of the three. For other codes to gain easy ground in 'heartland' is a indictment on league admin on letting that occur. Compared to the sheer market dominance the afl has in sa, wa and victoria.

17k for 15th vs 16th is pretty good shows that cronulla does have a place in the nrl once they get passed asada and start winning again the crowds will come back.

The Titans look like missing out on the 8 for the 4th time in a row and 6th year out of 8. No wonder they're flatout getting to 10k crowds and look set to have their 6th consecutive year of crowd declines.

Considering their crowds dropped even when they were performing well, I wouldn't call them bandwagoners.
Still, I think it's worth sticking with the Titans, as kids on the Gold Coast will be born and start following them, meaning that it might take 20+ years to see the full effect.

How can there be different totals when the bye period is over?

Because Round 19 last year 4 teams still had byes.

The origin period has finished a week earlier this season.

Byes were structured differently. Origin finished a week earlier this year.
