I reckon that is about right but being an optimist I will go 15000 for the Dogs/Boys

Well the round directly after SOO ave 18k+ so on that evidence he is wrong....:lol:;-);-)

If you're talking about the round DIRECTLY after SOO (Round 18) then there wasn't even 1 team who drew 18K. The Sharks were the highest that round with 17,242.

If you're talking about the following Round (last weekend) then yeah 18K was the average but that's because the Broncos had a home game, Knights had the rise for Alex home game and Tigers were playing the Bulldogs at ANZ where reciprocal rights allowed Bulldogs supporters into the game.

In fact if it wasn't for the "Rise for Alex" round you would probably see 13K at Newcastle given they were playing the Titans (who have less support then the Storm in NSW) not 26K.

So I really don't know what's there to celebrate given that you have 2 or 3 games significantly lifting the rest of the poor attendances.​
