On par crowd in Melbourne. My predictions:

Roosters v Cowboys - 19,000
Manly v Bulldogs - 29,000

Rabbitohs v Roosters - 72,000
Rabbitohs v Cowboys - 39,000

Panthers v Manly - 37,000
Panthers v Bulldogs - 47,000

Pretty obvious what the bean counters at NRL HQ are hoping for.

Week 2

Roosters v Cowboys 27k
Manly v bulldogs 38k

100% no excuses for manly at Allianz this week. It's a Saturday night so no work worries. Should be close to a sellout. Roosters game harder to judge but our fans no its the last chance so will get behind the team in numbers 25-30k imo

Penrith in week 3 will be interesting, they have the most feel good and momentum behind them so should be a healthy crowd b bulldogs or manly.

Dogs fans will turn up in huge numbers next Saturday after that performance in Melbourne this afternoon.

If we get a panthers v dogs prelim we could be looking at 50-60k. Souths v Roosters should virtually sell out ANZ. Expecting about 32-35k on Saturday night against manly. A lot of Dogs fans love getting out to Allianz

Looks like the NRL are preempting a sub 20k crowd for the Roosters/Cows clash based on the seating map they've released this arvo.

Very disappointing.

Nevermind the opposition, if the reigning premiers cannot deliver 20,000 in an elimination game. And they can't even use the excuse (as shitty as it is) about travelling. It is their home ground. They're 2 wins from a back to back grand final. Reigning premiers, minor premiers. Just like Manly, all this success wasted on a small fanbase saddens me.

I wish a Parra or a Canterbury had their run.

Do you mean the blacked out (no sales) upper tier of the stadium? If so, it's blacked out for the Sea Eagles and Bulldogs game as well - but you'd assume they would end up going on sale at some stage for the all-Sydney game at least

No, I meant the fact that they've reduced the CAT1 bays by four and CAT 2 bays by one.

Do you just copy and paste the same shit every week?

No more Souths fans showed up against Manly that Easts fans against Penrith last week so get down from the high horse. It's nauseating.

There was twice as many Panthers fans as there was Manly fans. And our game was on a work day (yes some Souths fans work).
