TRANSPORT INFORMATION
All tickets to the
South Sydney Rabbitohs v Sydney Roosters event include travel to ANZ Stadium on train services, Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses, regular bus services, Sydney Ferries and light rail services.
TRAFFIC
Traffic congestion is expected on Homebush Bay Drive.
If you intend on driving to the game from the north via Lane Cove Road or from the east via Victoria Road, the alternative route of Victoria Road, Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road into the Sydney Olympic Park precinct is recommended.
If you decide to drive, the below routes are advised and can help minimise traffic issues:
From the NORTH: Through Top Ryde, take Victoria Rd and then Silverwater Rd and Holker Street to Sydney Olympic Park;
From the SOUTH: Turn onto Parramatta Road then Hill Road to Sydney Olympic Park;
From the EAST: Take Parramatta Road then Birnie Avenue or Hill Road. If you are driving along Victoria Road, consider taking Silverwater Road then Holker Street.
From the WEST: Turn onto Silverwater Road then Holker Street or turn onto Hill Road, and then to Sydney Olympic Park.
TRAINS
The closest train station to ANZ Stadium is Olympic Park Station.
Getting Here:
Trains to Olympic Park depart Lidcombe every 10 minutes until midnight.
Trains will run from Central to Olympic Park every 15 minutes between 5.40pm and 6.40pm; then every 8 -10 minutes between 6.40pm and 9.30pm, stopping at Redfern and Strathfield.
In a bonus for Rabbitohs and Roosters fans, there will be two dedicated supporter train services:
The Easts Express will depart Central at 6:22pm
Rabbitohs Express will depart Central at 6:27pm
Getting Home:
Trains to Central will run every 5-10 minutes between 9.30pm and 11.00pm stopping at Strathfield and Redfern.
Trains to Blacktown will run every 5-10 minutes between 9.30pm and 11.00pm stopping at Lidcombe, Granville, Parramatta, Westmead and Seven Hills.
Trains between Olympic Park and Lidcombe run every 10 minutes from 11.00pm until midnight.
Additional T2 South Line services will depart Lidcombe at 10.17pm, 10.54pm and 11.25pm, stopping at Auburn, Clyde, Granville and then all stations to Campbelltown.
Additional T3 Bankstown Line services will depart Lidcombe at 10.06pm, 10.40pm and 10.59pm stopping all stations to Bankstown and then all stations to Central.
Blue Mountains services will stop at Lidcombe after 10.00pm.
An additional Central Coast & Newcastle Line service to Wyong will depart from Strathfield at 11.28pm, stopping Eastwood, Epping, Hornsby, and then all stations to Wyong.

BUSES
Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses are running, starting between 16:30 and 17:15 depending on the route. Buses will arrive at Sydney Olympic Park between approximately 18:15 and 19:40.
Fans should be aware that some minor changes have been made to the Major Event bus routes servicing Sydney Olympic Park. Two of the route services (Route 2A – Glebe via Gladesville and Route 3 – Macquarie via Ryde and Macquarie Park) have been removed due to historically low take-up by patrons. Importantly, alternative public transport options are available for those patrons who have used these particular services in the past.

Return services run after the game from around 22:00, with the last service leaving Olympic Park approximately 1 hour after the game.
Sydney Bus services are running to a regular weekday timetable.
Sydney Buses Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park.
Route 526 runs from the Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf to Olympic Park.
PARKING
Fans are strongly encouraged to leave the car at home and take advantage of the direct train and bus services in operation for the event and included in the price of your event ticket.

Fans who do plan to drive should allow plenty of time to get to Sydney Olympic Park, find a parking space and get to their seat for the game.
