Mate, no matter what crowd we get you will come out with an excuse and call us a "disgrace". Get off your f**king high horse, you support Canberra FFS.
No doubt if the game is sold out, Raiderdave will make up some bullshit that half the stadium were neutrals, SFS members and Broncos supporters, meaning that Manly only 20k fans there.
No doubt he will call it "disgraceful"
Thank you for this inside information, have you personally met everyone who has bought a ticket to the game? No you haven't. STFU mate. We will get a good crowd and it will be majorly a Manly crowd.rubbish
we're playing this final at the SFS ... theres only 38K tickets available to the public at this ground ... & barely half of these have been sold all up & not all of these to Manly fans
thats a disgrace ... plain & utter disgrace
as for who I support
I support a team that had a final played at home last year & it was sold out in 40 minutes .... 27K tickets gone in no time
it would have got 40K if our ground could of accomodated a crowd of this size
so don't lecture me on who I support
hold yr heads in shame Manly Fans .... you have let your side down ... & your game down ..... again
Go the Broncos ... they deserve their spot in the GF , & whilst their opponents do too ...their opponents fans do not deserve a team to support in it.
Apart from the 19 buses from Manly, how does public transport in Sydney work on gameday? Can you use trains and buses for free with your game ticket?
I'm really disappointed by Manly's crowds in the finals this season and if my team was playing a preliminary final I'd be there and I'd make it work in terms of money. If the game was in my city, I'd attend it just to watch the spectacle. This for me is the biggest problem we have: neutral fans just don't attend Sydney matches.
Usually the train fare is not included in the ticket price, but I think in this instance it will be.
Lot of claptrap getting about re NRL crowds plummet e.g. > http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-09-22/nrl-to-assess-finals-promotion/2912222/?site=sydney§ion=sport&date=(none) No secret that Manly are not finals crowd-drawer that Bulldogs, Dragons, WestsTigers & Parra are.
Sure the NRL should aspire for bigger crowds, but selectively pulling up stats to suggest the sky is falling in or that Manly are letting RL down, is nonsense.
A crowd just over 30K tonight is no better/worse than past GF qualifiers in Sydney, aside from recent all-Sydney NRL finals between Dragons, Dogs, Eels or Tigers.
NRL GF qualifiers at SFS >
2008 Sharks-Storm 27,570
2008 Manly-Warriors 32,095
2007 Manly v Cowboys 32,611
2006 Bulldogs v Broncos 29,511
As for Sydney vs Melbourne footy crowds comparison what a revelation been that way since 1880s, long before RL began! I dont know why in the face of that same comparison in 1907 that RL even bothered to found the game here.
Usually the train fare is not included in the ticket price, but I think in this instance it will be.
Disgraceful  Where are you Raiderdave? :sarcasm:Interesting there that the 2 featuring Manly have drawn better than the 2 featuring Cronulla and Canterbury.
Best direct comparison for tonight would be the 2006 PF between Canterbury and Brisbane. Looks like Manly will get a bigger crowd than a club that claims to be one of the best crowd pullers against the same opposition.
But of course, it wouldn't be LU if it wasn't all negative talk about Manly.
Sorry didn't mean included in the price but rather that you get free travel on public transport with sports tickets. In Brisbane, if NRL, Super rugby, AFL, cricket or ALeague is on then you can ride public transport for free with a valid ticket for the match.
You've got your tickets, so now plan your trip!

Can't see much use in that. Don't think there will be too many people on the Northern Beaches utilising the train network tonight considering there are no trains on the Northern Beaches.
When I think of manly supporters I think of anyone after the bridge on the train line for example:
Milsons point, north sydney, Chatswood etc.
The reason for that is I have a fair few friends who are from that area and they're Manly supporters.
Thank you for this inside information, have you personally met everyone who has bought a ticket to the game? No you haven't. STFU mate. We will get a good crowd and it will be majorly a Manly crowd.
Also Manly have a better crowd average the Raiders, even though there is f**k all to do in Canberra. Get off your high horse, your hatred against Manly is blinding you.
There are some, but most people in that area are butt-hurt Bears fans that despise Manly.
You ignore the point above which completely destroys your argument.:lol::lol:
If the Raiders were 2nd on the ladder .. we'd easily cover your pathetic average of 15K or so
however
If Manly finished 2nd last like we did
I somewhow don't think Manly's average would of been near 13K .. like ours was this year
a pathetic effort from a pathetic group of supporters ....
& thats being kind;-)
Interesting there that the 2 featuring Manly have drawn better than the 2 featuring Cronulla and Canterbury.
