Grand Finals are awesome, this will be my 11th from memory and I don't plan on missing one ever again... the atmosphere is unlike anything else, and even if your team isn't involved it's a blast. Get in there and enjoy the day, simple as that!

I've been to two grand finals to watch the Storm and there are always loads of people with every jersey in the league. Would be a great occasion no matter who is playing. No sure the atmosphere is as good as origin at suncorp but its a great time.

Yeah im thinking it might be pretty poor just went through category availabilities on ticketek, and cat 3 manly supporter bays are even selling very poorly.

Yeah suncorp has advantage with being all closer and whatnot. When not supporting a team grand finals are so much fun.

Yeah its seriously appalling. To get 10 tickets in the cat 3 manly bay you get seated in section 27 (row L). Which means they've sold 30,29 and 28. (29 and 28 are much smaller aswell)

They havent even sold double the amount of the broncos bays.

Ive been to 4 and the atmosphere just cant compete with origins at suncorp.

I'd argue that Grand Finals mean a lot more to the rugby league community than Origin. GF's are a culmination of a year of footy, Origin (while awesome) is a glorified 3-match exhibition series.

To the NSW RL community i agree. But i think to us Queenslanders nothing really can compare. Its only sometimes that a Broncos atmosphere can compete with an origin one - last weeks golden point obviously did. But in saying that i still think origins at suncorp have better atmospheres.

The moi moi try got pretty loud in 09. But nothing can compete with the atmosphere in 2005 game one origin golden point at Suncorp. The roar continued for minutes and minutes.

At the end of the day, I'm tipping this discussion is entirely subjective.

The GF is bigger because Origin takes 2 games to win while the Grand Final requires a side to play 27-28 matches.

Pretty good IMO... If NRL are serious about crowds for Prelim finals they should STOP crawling over backwards to Ch 9 and play these games on saturday night and sunday afternoon!!!

the Manly crowd will only beat the Storm crowd due to members & junior pass holders attending tonight

an utter embarrasment for Manly & Sydney in general
a warm balmy night , a cracking game in prospect ... nothing else on & Neutral Sydneysiders still won't leave their living rooms , hell even so called fans of the home team won't
they don't deserve to have their side in a Grand Final

go Broncos , lets have a non Sydney Grand Final again
& if the Sea Eagles do happen to get in
