Other codes don't have to worry about sub 20k crowds played in semi pro stadiums for finals.

Your point is? I would argue that a sold out game at shark park is a better look than a double header at allianz that isn't even close to selling out. You said we should be making ourselves look like a major code, how the hell does a double header do that?

32,747 crowd

Doubt it's much more than we would have got for a standalone manly v roosters game. Dumb decision and this only cements it.

Thankfully the crowd has been noisy and the games quality.

12000 empty seats

Good call tod

Don't blame the NRL blame the fans who can't be arsed to turn out to a finals game. 3 clubs avg 10k fans each turning up. Guess its easier to blame the NRL, prices, weather, KO times or any other lame excuse you want to find.

Dockers are expecting to be sold out in one day, 43,000 tickets for one club in a city less than half the size of Sydney.

We'll never compare to the AFL in Sydney, end of.

Only 12-13 games of AFL are played in Sydney each year.. Well, crap I guess you can say there's 24 with that gimp of a western sydney side.

Compared to how many NRL games? We're spoiled for choice.

Still, the crowds were crap. Manly vs Sharks is a worry
