Take away the Anzac game where it was 95% Dragons fans and the game against Souths where it was 95% Souths fans then the Roosters crowd average is probably 4k without those 2 games

GWS Giants > Roosters

lol whatever you think champ.

My numbers have the season average at 15,699 after 168 games. Total disaster for crowds this year.

I keep saying it we have far to much night football and especially far too much monday night football, i mentioned in an earlier post that there has been more monday night games in sydney than afternoon games this season which is a disgrace. And FFS the only game in sydney this weekend was not on until monday night!

Get it fixed NRL!

Round 23 crowd total was 127,181 at an average of 15,898 per game.

Season 2013 crowd figures after R23 are 2,638,288 at an average of 15,704.

To reach last seasons total we need to draw 514,854 fans to the final three rounds (24 games) at an average of 21,453 per game.

I'm not defending the wankers but the ongoing stories the DT was running earlier in the year about crap crowds are spot on. The ARLC need to sort this out through ticket pricing and scheduling games to suit fans and clubs. Fox seems to be willing to trial Saturday afternoons at least

The crowd target is achievable if decent weather coincides with the games ahead.
For instance the South Sydney V Canterbury Bankstown game this Friday should have a large number (40,000 easily in fact if marketed well I believe something approaching 60,000 is on the cards!)

These big end of season games (Souths V Easts later on etc) will draw massive attendances.

As for the future, the replacing of Monday football with Sunday night football will go someway to appeasing disgruntled fans and I would think club administrators!

The Saturday afternoon games need some time for TV fans to get used to. I hope they( NRL schedulers) give it the time it needs. The crowds have been OK for the Saturday arvo games.

LMAO Eels got 12k against the Tigers
Wooden Spooners > Daniel Mortimer

You do realise it wasn?t our home game and thus it doesn?t count towards our home average?

The attempt by souths fans at sticking the boot into roosters crowds is comical, but expected.

Are you another one who didn't go because you had to fork out $30?

You need to have a minimum expected crowd to be classified as a major event to get free transport don't you

The problem is Fox wants the best games for Monday night. Channel 9 want the best for Friday night. Friday nights have been wrecked by 9's poor selections. Monday night by location of games. These will exist still though ticket prices being fixed go a small way to fixing this

According to the club, we're expecting a minimum of 80k for both games so maybe some transport clause was triggered.
