I am a Souths member, and even I can't fathom why the club/stadium would go slugging people to come to this game vs the Roosters and the one vs the Dogs.

Seriously.

And if there are ads running for the Roosters saying they're giving tix away to the GCT game, FMD, Souths and ANZ should be doing the same...or at least $2-$5 tix, to fill the f***er up. They'll make it in beer and food sales anyway.

Bah!

The more I love RL, the more it pisses in my face, kicks me in the guts and tears out my fking heart through my anus! Grrrrrrr!!!

You must be one of those rich latte drinking snobs. :sarcasm:
Perth people are mostly millionaires also. And you say you're paying off a unit in Bondi. So you're a millionaire too.

The average Easts fan can afford $45 a lot easier than any other fanbase.

I can see why you're confused. You see people who don't live with their parents need a place to live. To purchase said residence, one has to pay* for it. For one to pay one must work** (unless Mummy and Daddy pay for it as in your case). I hope that this has helped you understand that world that you see outside your window.

*Pay: give (someone) money that is due for work done, goods received, or a debt incurred http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/pay?q=pay

**Work: a means of earning income; employment http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/work?q=work

Here we go. The excuses have started. Easts fans are all rich Point Piper living latte drinking snobs anyway. You people can afford $45. If that is your excuse for not attending a once in a lifetime event you are kidding yourselves.
You guys just want to make excuses to justify when 2000 of you show up instead of the 20,000 of you that should.
I have just found out I've got time off work. So if I can travel over 500 k's to this game you guys can put the lattes down for a few hours and make the trek to the dark side of the CBD. I promise noone will bite you if you cross George Street.

Lol, where to start with this one...

Apparently only south?s fans are diverse in demography according to you, all easts fans are of course rich people in Bondi. You are an imbecile.

Secondly I guarantee you there will be more easts fans than the 5k souths fans that showed up in round 1 ;)

At VOR - Latest pax for Broncos - 21,300 - this may be ugly..

Oh dear thats terrible. If they continue to show the form of recent years into the future i wander where their crowds will bottom out. Looks like they will drop below 30k average for the season

Broncos V Knights 20k
Tigers V Souths 23k
Bulldogs V Penrith 19k
Manly V Melbourne 17k
Warriors V Raiders 14k
Sharks V Cowboys 13k
Roosters V Titans 14k
Parra V Dragons 9.5k

nice to see the FTA contra is going to good use on 9. We get an advert at 10.30 for the weekends games, what a lot of use that is to anyone. Decent advert wrong time.

Hideous crowd lined up for a Friday night. Mrs VOR won't be there either (work function) so only one of my two tickets will be in use. Might have to go out and reenter on the other ticket to up the number by one.

Oh well. At least the beer queue will be short.

Seriously 20k for tigers game at Sfs

i cap it at 22k depending on how tigers fans mobilise for benjis last Sydney game. Problem with this game is that there aren't that many tigers members with access and away fans have to all pay with no members access. Thankfully next year the tigers look to be moving to anz which will give the comp additional gate sharing games between parra, tigers, doggies and souths.

another case of wrong ground wrong time me thinks

It's a bit of a spit in the face isnt it? Especially telling general admission season ticket members they have to pay an additional $20 to sit where they normally sit.

This is what pisses me off about the NRL, the second a game is more popular they get greedy. Now they're talking about origin ticket prices being the same as grand final next year.

We sit here debating and stressing the same old topics to death as to why crowds are crap whilst greedy club CEO's re-categorize seats and try to charge people $45 ($55 if you were to buy your ticket on the night at the venue) to sit past the goal line :(

They were hoping for a crowd over 40,000 last friday and they barely got 30,000.

They deserve everything they get if it's a crappy crowd and I wouldn't blame anybody for not turning up because of this.

Funny when they introduced "dynamic ticket pricing" at the end of last year for this year. What that really meant and what it was designed for was getting more $$ out of people for the blockbuster games because your typical Rabbitohs/Roosters vs Cowboys game never went down in price.
