Stunning crowd. Sydney took up the challenge and the game lived up to the hype big time.

Filthy I couldn't be ther...looked like more Roosters than people thought too. Great effort.

I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere, but that was the biggest regular season crowd in NSWRL/ARL/SL/NRL history.

Brilliant turn out. Small glimpse perhaps into what could be if the clubs and the NRL work better between themselves.

This is why there are not more big crowds like this in Sydney.

I'm currently sitting in a cab 2km from ANZ stadium in complete gridlock. I've been here about 20 minutes and the meter is currently at $30.20. I'm nowhere near home. Catch a train you say? I live at Cronulla, a mere 27km from the stadium but a 2hr trip as I have to go via the city.

There are people EVERYWHERE fighting each other for taxis, or to push their cars into a gridlocked line of traffic from a car park exit.

Sort the f**ken transport out.

This is what the nrl should aspire to, to build for.

So, souths lost...but the crowd was magic. Good on both sets of supporters. Got to share footy with both my boys and be part of two wonderful turnouts. Pls be more and ill even go as a neutral for big crowds.

CT, you have to look at the ease which fans can get to the MCG and Docklands - it plays a massive part in peoples decisions despite what people in Melbourne may claim.

Waverly was similar to Homebush in terms of distance from the CBD, with even worse access and it died a slow death because people simply hated getting in and out. If they'd stuck with the ground there and had no trains etc, people would still avoid it like the plague.

Was transport included in the ticket for this game?
Were big event buses running to different parts of Sydney?

Well it has a f**king $200 Million train station 240m from the gate ?

Sydney is not gonna build an 80,000 seat stadium in the CBD

We would rather another casino... Remember

As soon as you walked in you knew it would be an amazing night. The 60k figure was quite stunning when it came up.

Congrats to all involved, particularly the Easts fans who proved the anti-travel stereotype wrong.
