I wonder why Sydney clubs have had good crowds this year.

Because he Dogs, Dragons and Tigers are doing relatively well and draw big crowds

Whereas last year the Roosters and Sharks went well and pull pretty poor crowds comapared with the above.

Penrith have had a good year for crowds as well.

Only cause of the Bulldogs and Dragons fans that made there way out to Penrith (I know when the dogs played there it felt like Belmore, we had half the crowd)

Sydneys crowds are going up:D

If the tigers beat the titans next week it could be a massive crowd against the dogs last round.

So despite all the doom and gloom and a global economic meltdown our crowds have remained strong.

With the storm getting a new stadium and knights getting an upgrade and ST holders on the rise things are no the way up.

yes, great crowd for the tigers

-RECORD Tigers home crowd attendance(regular rounds) as well!

im rather confused though as to how the opening RLWC game at the SFS drew 34k when it looked so much more full.. compared to this game

Just got back from the Tigers v Eels and one hell of an atmosphere.

Well done to all the westies for treking their way to the eastern suburbs on a Friday night.

It certainly exceeded my expectations. Great to see the upper decks 70-80 percent full - very rare for premiership matches in the NRL.

I was in the upper eastern side, it was pretty full.
The lower eastern side was jam packed, as were the bays flanking the tigers membership area. There were some gaps in that section although to be expected, hopefully they have more members in the enxt seasons to fill those spots up!
You can tell a big crowd at the SFS by how many are in the ends, and there were a fair amount in both ends this match, particularly the northern end.
The only really empty spots were in the SCG trust members section up the back, and not much we can do about that!

Depends on members.
The crowd is 34k with no members it will look fuller on TV as you can't see the members in the upper decks on the side that the main camera is on

Half decent crowd for once - maybe they should have a weekly Friday night game at SFS between two local clubs, rotate it between all the Sydney clubs.
