I forgot about that, I retract those comments if it was the case that many normally Raiders Fans went along to pay tribute to Mackay.

Agreed the stadium looked rather full and the crowd were extremely vocal, I cant see how there were less the 14k people there.

Either the capacity is less than 20k, or the Knights are getting ProTicket to fudge the figures downwards to stick the proverbial up Hunter Venues with the current negotiations.

I think the thing about the knights crowd is that there is no stand on the western side. If there was the crowd in the other areas would be a lot more sparse.

aswell could the recession be hitting newcastle harder than some areas?

Hopefully the whether hold off, it poured for our rnd 1 clash which kept the crowd down but lets hope the rain stays away and we see a big crowd turn up. I would be happy with at lease 28k. If we crack 30k it would be a bonus.
