Stories are leaking out that they cuffed him while asleep. He may have woke up cuffed and confused, struck out, ran and got copped a taser in the back. Cops are farked if thats the case.

The reality with the police force is it attracts certain types of people.
One type is the really good community driven person who wants to try and keep their community safe and help people... but another type is the arsehole bullies in high school who want to a place where they can continues to be arseholes.
Evidently the officers involved here are in the latter. Hopefully they're reprimanded and dealt with by the force accordingly though i suspect not.

If the cops found him he wasn't hidden. You don't have to get shitfaced and draw the crabs by throwing missiles at motor vehicles. Suspect they'll be told to be a bit more careful next time and that'll be it.

It would be interesting to know how the police argued against the arrest being ruled unlawful. Not sure about NSW law, but under Qld law, perhaps they argued they were unable to rouse him to tell him he was under arrest and cuffed him given his previous actions suggested he could be violent when roused.

I’m not sure what time of day the op was, but there was 123 with the same date following, mainly calling to have him sacked, calling for the stand down policy etc. with a only a very few people saying they would wait to pass judgement.
There has been 49 posts in the 24 hours since he has been cleared.
I think people liked the idea of him being in the wrong.

FMD thats disgusting. He doesn't even get off the ground and cops a macing and tasering. The cops seem completely out of the depth and just continuously escalate the situation.

I hope he goes after them hard. He's in the fortunate position of being a public figure so they can't retaliate against a lawsuit. Average Joe would be f**ked if this had happened to them.

After watching all of the footage the behaviour of the police was absolutely discraceful.

Not only has he been the victim of such brutality, these stories and images will only cause him more embarrassment.
