Curtis Scott blaming his club for not supporting him is 100% wrong. He is an adult who needs to take responsibility for his actions. To sue for wrongful dismissal is going down a very bad road that he may not come back from.
He he best off claiming responsibility and finding a lower tier club to play for next year. He is good enough to get it together if his mind comes right.

But mate, Curtis was out on his own on Oz day.

Curtis was out on his own at Kokomos.

He's punched on with team mates.

Says it all really.

Young bloke with some pretty big demons by the sounds of it. Wish him the best and hope he can get control of them.

Another Canberra player defending Curtis Scott is a bit like an LA Rapper saying there was nothing to see at a drive by shooting.

Curtis and his attempts to garner sympathy can f**k right off imo, sick to death of NRL players "opening up" about their mental health troubles only after they have f**ked up. Did he stop and consider the mental health of the bloke he belted before he did it? Its not just highly paid footballers who struggle with it. Clubs and the NRL go above and beyond to provide support and care for the players these days. It seems like his problems boil down to him being f**k wit when he drinks which is easily fixed by not drinking. If he can't do that due his extremely hard life as a professional athlete then I find that pathetic.

I have sympathy for anyone with mental health struggles but someone who has had chance after chance and access to free help is better off then most people who have to deal with it.

Honestly the only reason Raiders sacked him was because they overpaid him and he has underperformed.

He gave them reason to be able to sack him. But if he was half decent they keep sweeping it under the rug and he would have dozens more chances before getting sacked.

Not that any other club wouldn't jump at the opportunity either. They would all be hoping for their big money dud signings to give them this sort of opportunity.
This is the truth … if he was playing like GI or turbo etc …. He could bend Ricky over the table and get away with it

‘unfortunately for him he’s played terrible since he’s been at the raiders

What a wretched hive of scum and villainy!

At least they could hold a tune at the Canton on Tatooine and you might find the odd redeeming character like Han Solo and his mate Chewy. Not sure there are any redeeming characters at the Canberra Faders

What a grubby club. Scott clearly is no angel, and has his issues, but the way the club have thrown sh*t at him - confidential sh*t - after chucking him out of the door says everything about the culture of that organisation. We saw it with Williams, and this is that x10. No wonder senior pros like Hodgson, humans with values, are obviously not on board with events.

Let’s be honest though, despite his spin and what his journo chums say, we know enough about Ricky to understand the kind of bloke he is eh…

Not quite fair. We sacked Dugan, Carney and Fergo even though they were out best players.

Player gets sacked- says its unfair, publicly and in the media.

Club releases some of the very valid reasons leading to his sacking, player says this is unfair.

Let me see how the Raiders "chucked him out the door" and you tell me how this sounds...

* Joins new employer on executive level salary.
* Immediately brings down public humiliation on employer through acts of public drunken stupidity (throwing things at moving cars, destroying property, dead drunk in a park). - later pleads guilty to some charges and sues the cops for handling it awfully (after the fact of all his drunken stupidity.
* Suspended by regulatory body. Still hasn't even started work. Club nurses him through this, publicly supports him and organises new legal rep after first one self hired was a disaster. Says his honestly was the most important part and they offer him every support under the sun- legal, psychological etc
* Begins work. Performs below standard.
* Gets in physical fight with work colleague. Injures himself in the process and spends extended time on sidelines during key work period. Club nurses him through his. Does not make it public. Again- every psychological and professional support made available.
* Curtis keeps playing below standard. Spends more time out with injured leg. Club nurses him through this.
*
Curtis gets in drunken fistfight in bar with member of the public. Hides it from club until footage is released and police charge him. CLub publicly dragged through the mud again. They remain media silence, waiting court matters and board meeting.
* Curtis gets wind of his sacking and launches a media puff piece through his manager to publish 24 hours before his sacking, painting employer in ill light.

All within 18 months of joining the new employer. What a deluded c*unt. Did nothing but shit the bed and get supported for 18 months then whines when he is called to account for his behaviour.

What more could the club do? You can only offer so much but even people battling with issues are still responsible for their behaviour. They have indicated they are still willing to pay for any help he needs and offer any support, working with NRL welfare.
