Don’t get the mcinnes dislike. We must be watching different people. He brings so much energy when he is on. He is always there for first contact on the oppositions gun forwards. Doesn’t shy away from tough carries, rarely makes a mistake and gets a quick play the ball 9 times out of 10 for us to play off the back of.
Feel exactly the same - he’s like the anti-Woods - he’s got everything we all hated Woods for not having.
Not got the frame for it really, but has done everything within his control to bulk up enough to be robust and strong, and puts his absolute everything into every tackle and every run. His play the ball speed is game changing, as is his defensive line speed. I guarantee if you asked the entire Sharks squad which player they’d choose first to ply alongside, it’ll be a photo finish between him and Dale….

Give Mr Angry a break. He doesn't know his identity now he has slumped into Fluffulence. I hope he comes out of it. He's trying. He's just picking the wrong targets, Picking Clearasil is a winner though.

Nathan Cleary - the new age Mitchell Pearce. Good at NRL, sucks at Origin

Some would go for Feefs, Graham or Tolman. That's why they are in the team. Young players love old heads.

Sidenote. His defence was even better when Brailey was off and he shoved fairly into the guts. They couldn't get through in that period. His Fake service was pretty sweet too. Good to know he's still got hooker skills

Leave it alone cheese sandwich
You want some bruz??????????

Considering we've only played well once in the last 5 weeks the fact we've won 5 straight is pretty cool. Hopefully they can and get themselves up for a good shot against the Pennies like they did the Storm.

I think they have played well. Not sensational but well. You don't win consistently playing badly. They seem to fluctuate when a beautiful fluidity to an alarming clunkiness in every game yet the constant is the defence, overall is impenetrable for long periods in games.

Wade Graham said in the presser they still don't know who they are and I think that is highly visible to us as fans which can make us focus more on the negatives than the good stuff.

The other thing is the timing. There are Rooster similarities here. Succinctly put, they are improving and coming to a peak at the right end. They are running the marathon well IMO.

Great point actually mate. They have still managed to get the 2 points in the bag no matter how good or bad they have played.
We are definitely building some momentum and playing some good footy more often than not at the right time of the season. When we get it together like the Storm game, we are scary good! Its Very cool!

meh average lock, quality hooker, wasting his talents here.
The Sharks don't seem to use a lock in the fashion of the 2022 lock actually. He plays as a middle. A small middle, but a middle. He doesn't link and he doesn't play with the ball. The 2 hallmarks of the modern lock. His role is different and he excels at it.

So there!!!

I'm in Angry's corner. MehCinnes.
Credit where it's due, though. He played well last night.

Just watched the game back. Teig Wilton had a super-special, cunnova game, bar seeing his name on the scoring sheet. Fitzgibbon was none too pleased.

Depleted Cowboys say the media they still had the Chad…lol
They still had 3/4 of their spine.

Dearden would have been more dangerous than Hampton no doubt.

We aren’t a media darling and that’s good as it takes the focus and pressure off the team.

All we heard about the Storm game was that they were missing Munster. Next to nothing about us being without Hynes.

If by some miracle we knock off Penrith next week it will be because of a State Of Origin Hangover.

We know the drill.
