They ran at Tim, forced him to do something like 30 tackles so he was tired, and they pressured his attack all night long. That and the 1 billion errors cost us.

Teams have been running at Tim Smith for a while now.
Andrew Johns is a champion, teams have tried targeting him so many times, you just cant do it, but you can target Tim Smith and it seems like everyone knows it.
Hes becoming a liability for the eels.

Tim Smith is a rookie, it's all part of the learning curve he's going through.
Another 2 try assists, could have been 3 had Perranara not dropped the ball with the line open.

Liability? Without him tonight, we would have lost 16 - 0, he set up both tries!

I wish people would stop f**king speaking like he is a 28 year old first grader who has been playing for years. He is 20 FFS and this is his first year, he had a brilliant start to the year and now he's being targetted, he needs time to get used to it but to call him a liability is ridiculous.

Nah Guys, Here were the differences.

Henry Perenara , 4 times in defence was called for off side 2 of these lead to tries. I watched him for the next 20 minutes and we were lucky not to be done again, he stands constantly a metre ahead of his team mates. His also dropped the ball with the line wide open.

Ashley Graham, made a few simple mistakes, sure it was wet, sure it was greasy but when all you have to do is pick up the ball in your own in goal and the opposition are still 20 metres from the goal you, you need to pick up the ball, not knock it on and the throw it out.

Luke Burt’s positional play was poor on two breaks in the last 10 minutes, twice the inside ball was on, twice Luke hung out on the touch line till it was too late to send the ball in field.

We defiantly miss Morrision and Wagon, our Defence for the first part was strong but had no sting.

Also Tim Smith kicked a ball out on the full, at the resulting scrum, Andrew Johns said,” so your the next Sterlo huh?” It shook Tim (either the jibe or the poor kick) and for the next twenty minutes he seemed to go awol.

We also missed Grothe’s finishing, both times Luke went for a bat back from a cross field kick, it went forward. Maybe there were mitigating circumstances on one, but the second one on our own line, he won the jump and managed to bat it forward.

Look, these players are nice guys and everyone who meets them loves them, but their form at the moment is poor and they are making mistakes.

Tim Smith 28 tackles - John Morris 28 tackles. We need to get back to the "old style" (80's and early 90's) defensive line where the halfback plays just behind the line as a sweeper. That would make it much harder for teams to target him and would also allow the fullback to concentrate on covering the deep kicks because the halfback is covering the short ones.

10 point lead, then lose the game 16-10. Not premiership material. Add to the fact we havent scored in the 2nd half for 2 weeks. (74min last week, but serioulsy crap).

Plus we have lost to 2 lame teams. We are sucking more and more.

What a great sledge, subtle and clever. I think this is a fine example of the difference between sledging and straight out abuse.

time for another boycott then musashi ;-)

seriously though, we lost because after being up 10 nil we played with no passion or respect for the opposition.

We lost because our coach makes poor decisions!!!!! Anyone who watched Premier League today would have seen Moi Moi and co tear it up!!!! Cannings was a pussy cat again.........very dissapointed!!!!!!

Our players lack passion, at times i wonder if they even want to be at our club!!!!

We missed Grothe and Morrison, Grothe for his strong dummy half runs and Morrison for his mongrel, and we have been missing Wagon from the time he broke his leg......

I am very disspointed, Johns proved he can do anything tonight cause he can even throw forward passes for tries and get away with it!!
