Im trying to emulate the anti-sandow sentiment. Also eelementary you are one of my favorite posters I'm sorry i have offended you my highness
It's more so the fact that a few on here are saying he has let in so many tries with his defence. I ask for examples I'm given one where it wasn't even just him that decided not to try and tackle leilua. If that means you are a bad defender than every player in the NRL can't defend as every single player has let a single try in a season.
Stop making him out to be the scapegoat in a team that is mentally weak and has many more problems then a number 7 that has the only spark in our team.
I look forward to the next mysterious thing that is Sandows fault in this team.

Eelementary: you fail at reading between the lines. What you posted is a non-issue and it isn't my fault if you can't connect the dots. Also when i quote you I'm not constrained to discuss only your post. Don't be so vain.
I've said countless times his defence has improved, and I'm not making him a scapegoat.
I'm merely referring to that one incident which was very poor form from Chris, that's all.
Ditto, mate. All good.
I really like Sandow, and I'd like to see us retain him. I think a Sandow - Foran combo is the right mix.
It was poor, but I can excuse him for 1 poor defensive play in 9 games.
I think a Sandow- Foran combo would be the best way to go as well.
I like you now Eele
Given his size, I don't expect him to make more tackles than he misses, but that non-tackle was disappointing.
But what I think he should focus more on is his attacking kicks - he's not in the side for his defence, but because he's an attacking threat.
He was great for Wenty.

No I don't expect him to make more tackles than his missus either.
He probably also needs to focus on his attacking passes. And his attacking runs. Once he gets his attacking ability back, it might be worth talking about whether or not he could play first grade again.
He has been awful this year. And defensively he is always awful. The right edge defence is a procession, with the centre and edge backrower 'cheating' towards Sandows man the whole game, and opening themselves up to be beaten on the inside (backrower), or outside (centre).
Just watch replays of the games, the right edge defensive structure is shot when Sandow is out there.
I think a Sandow + anyone combination in the halves will struggle to make the 8. Every single team has games where it struggles to score points, and needs to rely on a defensive effort to be competitive. You just can't regularly get in the grind with Sandow around, too many days he is AWOL, and it is a procession.
His attack is probably only ever 'on' one day out of 3 (at best) - at his best, he can carve up, but that happens twice a season. Fail to see how consistently poor defence is made up for by occasionally excellent attack.
Have you officially been appointed mayor of La La land yet?
Not only did we miss Sandow's goalkicking on the weekend, we missed the distance he gets on line droputs. Jelly-legs Norman was barely getting them to the 40 on the full.... meanwhile I saw Sandow kick one about 65 on the fly in reggies...
He could kick 'em 95 on the fly if he wanted, they would still score on the repeat set by running traffic at him.....
I think he offers more than Norman.
Norman is great at looking dangerous imo, but he's probably created about as many opportunities as Sandow, and his defence, while better, isn't something to gloat about.
Wait, so he creates as many opportunities as Sandow, but with better defence....but Sandow offers more than him? :?
Well, yeah - Sandow offers 40-20's, as well as goal-kicking and field goals.
