Do we keep Sandow?

Sandow is a garbage player and will not be retained. Cannot wait until I see the back of him.

Sandow was definitely targeted by Souths. Unfortunately we've got too many weaknesses that are easy targets. In the end Souths did nothing well the whole game except keep hitting it up and perservering.. it will be a constant tactic against us for the remainder of the season.

We're not a snowballs chance against the Panthers, but I still don't expect us to get beaten by any more than 10-12 points. It's funny, we're going to struggle to win games for the rest of the year, but I really don't expect teams to give us a flogging in the near future.

What the hell do you expect playing someone out of position? And on the goal kicking, it was terrible conditions and both of them were sideline conversion, Isaac Luke didn't fair much better until he had a chance from right in front. If I was the coach, I wouldn't have got Robinson to take the third conversion, should haven given Sandow another attempt since by then he should have been able to take the conditions into account.

We didn't lose because of Sandow. Sandow did not play a terrible game considering he was hopelessly out of position, thrown in the deep end in conditions that many fullbacks who have much more experience than Sandow can find difficult. We lost because overall we are a subpar team, with lazy forwards who make defensive lapses and our high error count.

I'm not saying we should keep Sandow, but blaming him for our woes, and trying to use the fact that he's never played finals football as an indictment of his skills is ludicrous. He has played the majority of his 150 games for a team that is utterly diabolical, has been shambolic in both the coaching and administration ranks and has underperformed across the board.

Nice post.

And thanks for putting in the effort. I couldn't be bothered anymore.

Brad Arthurs decision to play Sandow at fullback cost the game

Should have stuck to Robinson at 1 and Folau on the wing

Its really unfair for anyone to expect Sandow to not make errors at fullback especially in thos conditions. You either play Sandow at halfback or you dont play him at all

No that i think he will...

But if BA was to re-sign Sandow i would be death riding that motherfu*ker like there was no tomorrow.

Same.
He would show he has no idea whatsoever if he were to re-sign Sandow.

No other team seems to want him. Has there been any mention at all of a club looking at signing Sandow?

He did well to take all the bombs that were sent his way. Yeah, his little errors at the end were costly, but they are what they are. I don't rate Chrissy too much, but he was again thrown into the deep end, out of position tonight.

He should of at least kicked one fuc*ing goal, though.

Didn't Semi's errors put us under pressure as well? Dropped bomb and failed intercept.

If Wicks put his charge down on the toe and dived on it, we would've won

They all did, but in these conditions there will always be errors.

Wicks tried to do the right thing, dive on the loose ball and take the filed position, 30m out from Souths line.

With the two errors by Semi that you mentioned, TBH, i am always keen for a player to make a play at the ball in those situations, rather than let it bounce. A bouncing ball can go anywhere.

Even though i did single out Manu for his fu*kup, it's only because of the timing and what it lead to.
