If you say one team wasn’t prepared to roll their sleeves then that’s on the coach.
For me it wasn’t just the result. It was the magnitude of it and the coaches surprise tactics throughout the match. I honestly thought he had learnt from the past, but I guess not.
The coach warned them before the Newcastle game that they would be formidable with their coach on the chopping block and certainly told them that Storm would be more than fired up after a poor performance and a Bellyache spray.
I know there are a bunch of you that are focused on the coaching staff (and they are not immune from criticism) but seriously 47 missed tackles, 24/32 completion rate, kick return metres 70 for us and 317 for them. That adds up to a flogging in any game.
