I am enjoying footy nowdays. I can not think of a time where my two favourite teams are sitting in the top 4 and winning most weeks.

Parras been fun to watch the last 6 yrs. 2016 included. We would of been top 4 had not been caught. Sure 2018 was a blip. But we bounced back fast.

We now go into every week capable of winning every game. And most likely expected to win 85% of the time. What's not to like?

He fires them up, which is why they often start well and take leads against superior opposition. But over 80 minutes the opposition's superior quality shines through. That isn't the coach's fault.

I’d like to think, Ive identified BA’s biggest flaws early on . The guy is a capable coach, I just don’t think he can take the team to the next level.

Anyway you can post any stats to suit your arguments. Just like I can.... How many games did we lead in last season at half time and go on to win? A great deal. We were excellent front runners. Yet we still lost against the bunnies. I would of thought at the half time mark we’d be favorites to win it. So would many others.

I remember droves of eels fans including me, dad and Mik leaving with 15 to go only to find every car copped a $220 fine on the street we parked.
Must of been over 100 cars booked. And all Mik had to say is it isnt my car so don't ask me to chip in.

I’d like to think, Ive identified BA’s biggest flaws early on . The guy is a capable coach, I just don’t think he can take the team to the next level.

He has done a solid job. Might struggle to get this squad to the next level, but so would most coaches.

I have always felt that there is a disproportionate focus on the coach from merkins on here. Poor performances aren’t always down to the coach.

How many of those games were against Top 4 teams? A comparison against wood duck sides is irrelevant.

Perhaps, but it was still a diabolical display. We weren’t even remotely competitive FFS. One of our worst ever performances in a finals match imo.

The reason we (and Sharks and Rorters) lost is almost completely down to one player having the greatest run of form since Hayne c.2009. Michael Morgan for the briefest of moments was the next Immortal.
Like in 2009, the Scum scummed their opponents to another scummy title.
