Make him spend the off season practising passing left to right. He's young enough that he could improve considerably. Then he can give Mahoney a break at least when needed. Or replace him when out. Could Mahoney even play in the halves?

Having a f**ked shoulder the last couple of months has made me feel old.

Yeah same. I noticed that first. Little injuries become longer to heal and occured more often. I also stared making a noise when I sit down occasionally. Like ahhhh.
White hairs was fine on my scalp. But then a few surfaced downstairs. That's when I knew my best days where gone.

Yep. So if we can’t sign a Ponga or similar type player for 2022 or 2023 where does that leave us? It leaves us with pretty much the same squad, the exact same coaching staff and probably more 2nd round finals exits.
We could've won last night. We also could've snuck into the top four and won in the first week. Nothing's a foregone conclusion, including next year's finals.

I’ve noticed, once you hit 40, you’re f@&ked

40 and f@&ked is my saying

Mitchell Moses is 100% the clubs weak link time and time again when it comes to winning finals football.
He just doesnt offer much apart from kick and pray and refuses to take on the line when its needed.
He ran nine times last night, against a team that only concedes line breaks out wide. But he is relying on Dylan Brown or the 13 to get him the ball at the right times.

Would merkins be happy if we keep bowing out in week 2 of the finals for 3-4 more years?
It would be such a dumb thing to happen consistently that you'd have to put it down to coincidence. Like Melbourne beating Manly 40-12 in finals matches.

There's no special skill required to win in week two finals matches, other than consistently being up against top six quality teams. Those are games you're likely to lose if you're not part of the big four.

Hmm i kind of expected that reply , but i was making an honest observation about how he is veiwed by many in general league circles and zero to do with my opinion of him as an x tigers player.
Moses was as good as Cleary last night and last week put in the best half back finals performance in years. He is an Origin player now and has a win rate over 55% at our club. Time to rethink your opinion of him. Mitch Moses is quality.

Back to the cattle not being good enough again, the chicken or the egg. Is it the players or the game plan??? Or both??? Maybe it's a little of column A or column B.
Then why are you so hell bent on blaming the coach?
Would any of our assistants get a gig at the top clubs??? Thats a fair question and i seriously doubt it.
Do you think assistants from the top clubs would come to Parra to be assistant coaches?
